Principal's Message

We are excited to begin a new school year and a new tradition of learning, where Scholars, Parents, Educators and Community Partners create an environment that fosters cooperation, emotional support, and personal growth to achieve what we could not accomplish alone: A High Achieving Secondary Academic School. However, most importantly, we are excited about being partners with you. 

At the Academy for Scholarship and Entrepreneurship, assuring high achievement for every scholar will guide everything we do. You will be assigned an advisor. The advisor, parents, and scholars will work together to maintain your individual goals.  Every 2-4 weeks you will review your progress report with your advisor and parent/guardians as needed.  In addition, you will be able to view your grades, attendance, homework and other assignments/projects on a daily basis via Skedula, our online tracking system.  

The Academy for Scholarship and Entrepreneurship mission is to connect scholars to college success. In addition to the Core Curriculum, we offer our scholars and families a series of resources. Scholars will participate in our certified Career and Technical Education (CTE) program which includes the following courses;

• Business Curriculum: Business Computer Application, Entrepreneurship, virtual enterprise, and paid & unpaid internships.

In addition, with the help of various higher education, financial institutions and community-based organizations, we will also offer rigorous world-class advisory, advance placement and college level coursework.  The advisory curriculum will include such courses as Ethics, Diversity and Tolerance, Mediation and Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Social Responsibility.
